Me :-)

Hello, first of all let me introduce myself, my name is Richard. Other names for me are RAW (which is my initials) or Superiorraw which has become my main name handle on websites and MSN.

I am very very new to blogging. I've always had an interest in what other people are doing to spend their time as well as learning about other peoples cultures. (if you see this blog and are reading and have a blog anywhere in the world please add me or send me a message). I'm a very friendly person and usually go by the motto
'the more friends the better' so drop me a message and say hello.

I've collected and enjoyed action figures ever since i was 7. My first true toys or toy was Lego way back when i was 4, I then got Star Wars when I was 6 before moving onto Action Force (G.I.Joe in USA) in 1987 (when I was 7). I stayed quite loyal to Action Force for a number of years. As I've grown older whilst I knew of DC & Marvel heroes I never really shown an interest in them until a couple of years ago. My interest in them bottomed out and I moved back into G.I.JOE and then onto Microman. I still have a good collection of GIJOE stuff but I've now got myself a new lease of life, one that returns me right the way back to my starting point. I've come full circle. I'm now collecting Minimates. For those of you that aren't sure what a Minimate is. Allow me to post a picture up.

They are predominantly designed from the same idea as Lego figures, only with more character and more articulation (points of movement). The Minimate line has spawned lots of different types of series from DC Universe to Marvel to Ghostbusters and Battle Star Galactica. They seem to be a very popular action figure/collectable.
Discussing these Action figures takes place at the Minimate Multiverse Forums.

I'm currently working on my first official Minimate post to this blog, I have a good idea who it will be about and which character so please stay tuned. Pictures and words to follow. I hope you all have had a safe and pleasant Christmas and i wish you all a great 2010!

Rich
